Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Crop Science Research Laboratory (CSRL)�in Mississippi State, MS has a requirement for the removal of existing and construction�of a new greenhouse. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the requirements. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced construction contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Competitive 8(a) Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an�RFP for this requirement, with all relevant documents,�in April 2021. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
