- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a request for proposal (RFP) IAW FAR Part 13. AFLCMC/HBK at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for Personal Electronic Device (PED) Containment Case. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Please see attached Statement of Work (SOW) for details. Delivery will be made to Tinker AFB. Additional detailed delivery instructions will be provided to the successful offeror at time of award. PACKAGE/PRESERVATION: BEST COMMERCIAL SHIPPING INFORMATION All equipment shall be preserved, packaged and packed for shipment in accordance with best commercial practices to prevent mechanical and physical damage. Packaging shall be marked with all the proper information. HARDWARE MARKINGS: The Contractor shall ensure machine-readable metallic Item Unique Identification (IUID) plaques/ markings required under this contract are permanently placed on the items delivered under this contract per MIL-STD-130. (A021/DI-MGMT-81804A).
