Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC-PCD) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Alta Data Technologies LLC, 4901 Rockaway Blvd N E Suite A, Rio Rancho NM 87124-4503 �sixteen (16) each ENET Appliance with One Channel of Dual Redundant MIL-STD-1553 with Dual Function (BC/Mon or mRT/Mon) Capability Included: Extended Temp (-40 to 85 Industrial Components); Part Number ENET2-1553-1D-E. This purchase is not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. �These items are commercial items originally manufactured by Alta Data Technologies as part of the end item assembly.� Developing another source would be expensive as there would be significant reoccurring engineering and testing costs.� The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N61331-21-T-JK17. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. Delivery will be no later than eight (8) weeks after award of the order - FOB Destination to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. The order period of performance will be from award of the order through 30 September 2020. �
