Description

NOTICE OF INTENT / SYNOPSIS �INTRODUCTION: The following notice is for Informational Purposes Only.� This is not a request by the Government for submittal of proposals or quotes of any kind. The Government intends to issue, on a Sole Source basis, a Firm Fixed Price contract to Stratasys Ltd (CAGE: 1GKB4), 7665 Commerce Way, Eden Prairie, MN, 55344, for the procurement and sustainment of Tier 2 Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) non-modified Additive Manufacturing (Industrial Polymer) systems and the initial support and sustainment of those systems, to meet Chief of Naval Operations Design for Maintaining Maritime Superiority Ver 2.0 and Marine Corps Order 4700.4 initiatives.� This effort involves the procurement of the Tier 2 Additive Manufacturing DOD F900 Production system (Fortus 900) manufactured by Stratasys Ltd.� Additionally, the effort involves post-procurement support of the DOD F900 Production system to include: technical support and its installation at predetermined sites, support equipment and ancillary equipment problem resolution; technical publication logistic support; OEM reach-back capability for software and hardware components; engineering investigations and corrective actions for system anomalies; and development of initial training for the supplied systems.
