Description
The 30th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry information with respect to Scrubber Media Replacement at Vandenberg AFB, CA.� No solicitation is being issued at this time. �This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. �Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. �The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.� Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, may be made available on the beta.SAM.gov website (https://beta.sam.gov/).� Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applies to this request of information: 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. �The Government is seeking to identify contractors capable of performing a recurring service to vacuum out 6 sections at 72 cubic feet of Purafil Select media, dispose of old media and then refill the 6 sections with new media (in sling bags). �Media is anticipated to be non-hazardous and able to be disposed of through normal disposal methods.� The exact length of time between recurrences is to be determined based upon initial sampling results after commissioning of new equipment, but is expected to be required at least annually.
