Description

To enhance DoDEA�s computing environment, a Cloud software application is required that allows for data to be easily collected, analyzed and get answers from our machine data which results in action. �The Cloud software solution must have the following characteristics: Allows DoDEA Cyber Security the ability for real-time monitoring, complete trace data analysis with alerts, rapid automated incident response, seamless log management, and extensible compliance reporting so that DoDEA�s network is protected from external and internal threats in real time. The brand name being solicited is Splunk.�� Splunk software analyzes, visualizes and monitors data from any source from remote surveillance and user logins�enabling DoDEA to gain the awareness required to improve security, efficiencies and intelligence gathering. This data is a critical resource that provides holistic views of DoDEA IT operations. This requirement is on the DoD ESI contract and there is only one source listed on the DoD ESI for Splunk.� In addition, Splunk has been designated a Core Enterprise Technology Agreement (CETA) under DoD ESI.� The CETA designation means this purchasing vehicle is mandatory for DoD for Splunk products and services.
