Description
The U.S. Government potentially has requirements for LSA support, power generation, and catering services to support 100 to 400 personnel for 15-20 days. Upon solicitation requirements may be combined or solicited separately. Indicate which requirement you are interested in when responding. Informal, non-binding cost estimates are welcome for the purposes of market research. Estimated requirements are as follows: LSA support- Includes billeting, dining facilities, abulations, and perimeter fencing. Tents: �Fest� style tents of European design will be used for billeting and dining facilities and shall be aluminum framed. Fest tent covering shall be white translucent hard sided. Hard-sided tent walls shall include plenum penetrations to accept Environmental Control Unit duct work. Additional Marquee style tents may be required at off-site locations. Marquee tents may be frame or pole-tension style. Marquee tent coverings shall be white, translucent, soft-sided with clear Marquee style windows and contain high peaks within structure of tent. Pedestal style floor system is required for all tents. Floor systems shall be made of pedestal style floor system metal frame with wood panels. Tents shall be secured to ensure no movement occurs during high winds. Interior lighting and fire extinguishers shall be included with all tents. Estimates are: One (1) � Sleeping tents: 20m x 50m x 3m Tent� Two (2) � ECP tents: 2m x 2m x Tent Marquee Style One (1)- Dinning Facility Tent: 20m x 40m x 3m Tent� Option- One (1) 20m x 50m x 3m to be exercised by customer request only. One (1) 5m x 5m x 3m Tent, Marquee Style with hard walls� One (1) 5m x 10m x 3m Tent, Marquee Style with 3 Soft walls ( Front Open) One (1) 10m x 15m x 3m Tent, Marquee Style with all walls open Perimeter Fencing: Fences shall be 6' high and physically connected between panels using a bolt connection system. Fence bases shall be concrete or metallic in nature and be physically connected to the soil with a minimum of two (2) � one (1) meter long stakes at each base piece. Estimated 640m of fencing is required. Abulations: Portable chemical toilets, hand washing stations, and shower and sink facilities with daily cleaning and stocking of required expendables. Portable toilets and hand washing stations may also be required at off-site locations. Shower and sink facilities shall be containerized with potable and grey water storage tanks. Multiple refuse containers and daily refuse removal will be required. Power Generation and Distribution/ECUs - All power distribution systems and security lights shall be properly grounded in accordance with the most current version of the National Fire Protection Code (NFPA) 70 � National Electric Code, Host Nation Electric Code, European Union standards and local codes. In the event of a conflict between NFPA 70 and other national and local codes, the more restrictive code shall take precedence. Both 110v and 220v power may be required. Generation must be sufficient to provide 24/7 power to all required systems to include perimeter lighting. Fuel and maintenance is provide by the Contractor. All generators shall be quiet in nature (<65dB). Catering Service- �Food service will provide breakfast and dinner meals and shall be of American cuisine. The Government will provide a location and electricity for food preparation. Breakfast:� Contract personnel are to prepare:� 2 (two) assorted fruit juices; 2 (two) assorted fresh fruits; hot and dry cereal; 2 (two) meat items � a choice of bacon, sausage, ham or cream beef; assorted omelets and eggs; pancakes and French toast; fresh breakfast pastry; hash brown potatoes; toast; butter/margarine; coffee; tea; milk (pasteurized); and condiments.� Hot biscuits, rolls or muffins are also to be served. Dinner:� Contract personnel are to prepare 2 (two) meat entrees with appropriate sauces or gravies; 2 (two) starches, e.g. potatoes, noodles, or rice, etc.; 2 (two) cooked vegetables; salad bar or a minimum of 4 (four) salad options (not including short order items) - a choice of e.g., lettuce, tomato slice, onion slice); 4 (four) assorted desserts - 2 (two) of which shall be pie, cake or pastry items and 2 (two) of which shall be fitness oriented � a choice of e.g., chilled fruit, gelatin or yogurt; 3 (three) assorted breads/rolls � a choice of white, wheat, rye, whole grain, garlic; butter/margarine; assorted cold drinks; carbonated beverages; coffee; tea; milk (pasteurized);� Soup shall be offered daily for the dinner meal.� Cakes, pies, and pastries shall be varied. Coffee/Snack Bar: contractor shall ensure that fresh coffee with sugar, milk and cups are continuously available
