- This is a sole source effort to DRS Sustainment Systems, Inc. St. Louis, MO (CAGE 98255). Authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS) describes the requirements to provide timely sustaining engineering and technical support for the AN/APQ-170 Multi-Mode Radar System and subsystems (hereafter referred to as the AN/APQ-170 Radar System) to resolve deficiencies and improve reliability, maintainability and functionality. These requirements include engineering studies in support of resolving reliability and maintainability issues, resolving obsolete parts issues and analyzing failure trends from the depots and the field level shops. The contractor shall deliver correct data deliverables as outlined on each request. Engineering support shall also include the correction of errors in engineering drawings, investigating anomalies on the aircraft and in the radar and test equipment as well as any other technical support that is required. The tasks associated with this contract are to be accomplished at the contractor�s facility and other locations as specified by the Government. These tasks shall support the war fighter in performing missions that utilize the AN/APQ-170 Radar System. The contractor shall provide timely support (by the most economical means) to resolve issues with the radar, allowing return of the aircraft(s) to full mission capability expeditiously.
