- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (HdHCB), Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Rees Scientific Corporation, 1007 Whitehead Road EXT STE 1, Ewing, New Jersey 08638 under the authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source is reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.� The requirement is for a maintenance service contract for the Government-owned environmental monitoring system.�� This requirement will be for Munson Army Health Center, (MAHC), Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 66027.� Award will be on or about 18 March 2021.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.� The estimated period of performance is 22 March 2021 through 21 march 2026, a base and four years for this recurring requirement.� �The Small Business Size Standard is $22M. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the non-personal service of medical maintenance for the Government owned environmental monitoring system. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. A solicitation will not be published.
