Description
SYNOPSIS Helium gas supplied bi-weekly to the National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office located in Tucson, AZ The following information is provided in accordance with FAR 5.207(c): A National Stock Number is not assigned to this requirement. This requirement is for commercial Helium gas. There is not a qualification requirement for this product.� There is no specific manufacturer or part number for this product.� The Helium must be provided in six-pack cradles with manifold system of a size that safely permits at least 1,800 cubic feet of Helium per six-pack. The predominant material is Helium gas. The quantity to be delivered is between 58,400 and 68,000 cubic feet per year, delivered incrementally approximately every two weeks. There is one option for the same minimum and maximum quantity. The unit of issue is LOT and will be specified as Not To Exceed (NTE) Price. The helium shall be delivered, FoB Destination, to the following address: 520 North Park Ave., Suite 304, Tucson, AZ 85719 The delivery schedule is approximately every other week. The actual schedule will be coordinated upon contract award.� The base contract period is March 15, 2021 through March 14, 2022, with the option to extend the term of the contract to March 14, 2023. This requirement does not include any sustainable acquisition requirements.� The solicitation procedures to be used is a request for oral quotations. A written solicitation is not intended to be issued. The anticipated award date is March 12, 2021. This not an architect-engineer type contract. The solicitation will not include clauses 52.223-3, 52.223-5, or 52.223-11. This action is intended to be non-competitive. The intended source is Veteran Chemicals, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern. The non-competitive action is justified under authority of 15 USC 657f, which authorizes award on a sole source basis to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern under certain conditions. The single source determination justifying this action is provided in the attachments. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation is intended to be solicited orally for quotations. If you wish to receive the solicitation, please contact the primary POC listed with this synopsis. The solicitation will not be made available to interested parties via electronic data interchange. The technical data required for the solicitation will be provided with the solicitation.
