Description
I. SCOPE: Procurement through the vendor shall provide our A3N (war room) Telemetry Unit with 20 each of the Spacelabs Healthcare Ultraview patient monitors, transmitters with display and telemetry receivers which provides a means for the continuous collection and monitoring of electrocardiographic (EGC) signals in order to detect abnormal cardiac rhythms, including life-threatening events such as high and low heart rates, asystole and ventricular fibrillation. This procurement shall also include any enhanced ICS software support for John D Dingell VAMC (Detroit, MI). This procurement includes a turnkey and is connected to EER 111290 for our additional telemetry unit A4N to bridge the two (2) units simultaneously. Turnkey Instructions: 1. Pull (2) Green CAT6 cables from the current XTR location on 3rd Fl 3142 over half wall to Dlink switch on 3rd Fl in rack 3142 (distance less than 50 feet) 2. Pull (1) Green CAT6 cable from Dlink switch on 3rd Fl in XTR Closet 3142 to War room on 3rd Floor 3157. (distance less than 150 feet) 3. Pull (1) Green CAT6 cable from War room 3157 to closest Hospital Switch (distance tbd) 4. Pull (1) Green CAT6 cable from Dlink switch on 3rd Fl in XTR closet 3142 to 4th Fl central station 4104 (distance less than 300 feet) 5. Pull (2) Green CAT6 cables from War Room 3157 to 4th Fl hallway by 4104. One on west�one on East (distance less than 300 feet) 6. Pull (1) Green CAT6 cable from 4th Central station 4104 to closest Hospital switch (distance tbd). �Hardware� shall refer to monitors and modules manufactured by and supplied to customer by company. �Software� shall refer to software and/or firmware which is manufactured by and supplied to customer by company. �Update� shall refer to all modifications, changes, and enhancements which company elects to incorporate into and make part of the software and does not separately price or market. �Upgrade� shall refer to all modifications, changes, and enhancements that add features or functionality to spacelabs standalone software or firmware that spacelabs separately prices and markets. II. Software and hours of support plan coverage shall include: -Three (3) consecutive weekdays of customized clinical training (workflow process development, alarm management, eLearning administration). Up to 7 hours of class time per day, between the hours of 8am and 8pm. -SL Network Impact analysis. Network Impact Analysis to determine and evaluate the impact of SL on the local network. Remediation, Testing and Go Live Support. Coverage shall include support in the operation, planned maintenance, and corrective maintenance of equipment covered by the agreement. This includes remote diagnostic support. III. Support Services: The contractor shall provide any travel, accommodation, labor and software required to complete performance enhancing updates at the customer�s site, 7 days a week from 0830 to 1700 local time, to include up to one performance enhancing update per year for currently supported products. The contractor shall also provide any travel accom9odation, labor and software required to complete performance enhancing updates to hardware equipment at the customer�s site 7 days a week from 0830 to 1700 local time. All updates will be performed during one customer site visit. IV. Competency of Personnel Servicing Equipment: The contractor shall assure fully qualified staff are available to provide support services described int eh statement of work. Upon request by contracting office, the contractor shall provide written assurance of the competency of their personnel on the specific systems covered in this agreement. V. Safety Requirements: In the performance of this contract, the contractor shall take such safety precautions as the COR may determine to be reasonably necessary to protect the lives and health of occupants of the building. The COR shall notify the Contractor of any safety issues and the action necessary to correct the issue(s). Such notice, when served to the contractor at the work site shall be deemed enough for the corrective actions to be taken. If the contractor fails por refuses to comply promptly, the CO may issue an order stopping all or part of the work, and the contractor in default. VI. Financial Matters Contractor shall invoice monthly arrears through the approved VA invoicing system.
