Description

This special notice is to cancel the intent to sole source to Care Fusion for alaris pumps.� This notice is to cancel the requirement in its entirety. The government no longer requires this service. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The SAO East/NCO 6 Contracting Office, Hampton, Virginia intends to award a Sole Source contract to Carefusion Solutions, LLC. (Authorized distributor of the Beckton Dickinson (BD)Alaris System). The Hampton VAMC has a need for software support services for the system currently on station. The software support services will include the following: Technical support Clinical support (Pharmacy and Nursing), which includes an annual on-site visit Software update access for Hampton VAMC Biomedical Engineering Online training Access to Alaris Knowledge Portal Data Informatics support Tuition for two attendees for an Infusion Data workshop This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). The anticipated award date is March 19, 2021. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is March 17, 2021 at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
