Description

The GSA IT Office of Infrastructure Digital Technologies, Platform Management Branch requires offsite tape storage for its data centers.� GSA IT requires nationwide offsite data tape storage and management services to comply with federally mandated data lifecycle retention requirements, to ensure that data can be recovered following� a loss, provide data for litigation matters,� or support a Continuity of Operations (COOP)/Disaster Recovery (DR) event.� GSA requires a single source for this service to ensure: One POC that can be reached 24 x 7, allowing authorized staff to request tape be delivered to any GSA facility. A single management infrastructure and inventory source for GSA�s data tapes. A single source for transporting data tapes between GSA data centers on a regular scheduled basis. Offsite magnetic tape & storage management services The objective of this task is for the General Services Administration (GSA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to obtain offsite tape management services for the centrally managed and administered enterprise-wide data protection infrastructure. ** THIS REQUIREMENT IS ALSO POSTED ON EBUY.GOV
