- This is a Sole Source with Cameca Instruments, Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15) Cameca Instruments, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government�s requirement. Cameca Instruments, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the Hyperion Ion Source for the Cameca IMS-1280 instrument and does not allow thirdparty resell with no added value. Substitutions cannot be made for the Hyperion Ion Source on the Cameca IMS-1280 instrument.
