Kingsbridge Road Rm. 9b16 Bronx NY 10468 Synopsis: Please note that this is not a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Brooklyn VA Medical Centers, is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing the following services for Brooklyn VAMC. Scope of Work and Specific Requirements The contractor is responsible for all materials, labor and supervision to accomplish the following: The contractor shall rig out old compressor and rig in and replace with new compressor The contractor shall replace compressor power wires, filter drier cores and oil The contractor shall pressurize chiller, recharge system with the factory recommended charge of R134A The contractor shall start, check and verify operation of Chiller. The contractor shall verify that the Compressor has a 5year warranty on parts only to verify repairs all required supervision, materials and labor to accomplish the repair A site visit is required to verify existing conditions, availability and accessibility for all required utilities. The contractor is responsible for the utilities installation and connection and will provide all labor and material required. The Contractor is responsible for any damage caused by his employees. All damages shall be repaired and/or replaced at no additional cost to the government. Contractor shall submit schedule to VA for approval. The Contractor shall not perform any work on utility services without prior coordination with COR and VA Engineering Team. The contractor shall not interfere in any way with Hospital operations. The contractor shall perform cleanup at any time when work area becomes cluttered and/or restricts traffic. Work area must be cleaned at the end of each work shift. In the performance of all work, the workers must be incompliance with safety regulations governing worker safety (OSHA: 29 CFR 1926 Safety and Health Regulations for Construction; NFPA, Life Safety Codes, etc.). All work must be during regular hours as provided by the VA Brooklyn Campus Engineering Service. Normal work hours are 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday except for Federal Holidays. If the Contractor desires to work on Saturday, Sunday, holidays, or outside the project site s normal working hours the contractor must submit a written request for approval to the VA-COR at least seven (7) working days prior to the proposed start of such work. The contractor shall provide for approval: a. Safety plan. b. ICRA. c. ILSM. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 238220. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing via email and must be received no later than March 26, 2021. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this procurement relative to NAICS 238220. Qualified offerors shall be experienced in addition to providers (sellers) capable of supporting this facility. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, and examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to DUNS number, address, and point of contact. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax) and received no later than March 26, 2021 at 5:00PMEST. A solicitation is not currently available.
