- Description
- The United States Coast Guard is seeking contractors interested in submitting proposals for the manufacture and delivery � inch (nominal diameter), Type I, General Purpose, Class 2, 6x19 wire rope for various U.S. Coast Guard Units and Cutters.� The wire rope shall be manufactured and delivered in accordance with the attached Specification:� RR-W-410H dated 22 December 2015 This is a Sources Sought/Market Survey announcement seeking companies that can provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, facilities and supervision to fabricate and deliver � inch wire rope to multiple Coast Guard destinations.� The Government anticipates issuing a single solicitation resulting in the award an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price contract with an Economic Price Adjustment for steel. The period of performance is anticipated to be a one year Base Period and 2-One year Option Periods (not to exceed three years if all option periods are exercised by the Government).� The performance period of the contract is anticipated to start on/or about September 11, 2021.� The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 332618, Other Fabricated Wire Product Manufacturing.� The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees.� A small business set-aside determination will be made based upon the results of this Sources Sought notice (i.e. if enough small business interest indicate that a set-aside for small business will result in an adequate number of responses for competition purposes).
