- UPDATE & CORRECTION: This Request For Information (RFI) is�to provide maintenance and repair for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Motor Life Boat (MLB) 52s, 47s, and 45s foot Boats in accordance with the attached SOW. The title of this�RFI has been changed from Request for Quote to provide provide maintenance and repair for the USCG Motor Life Boat (MLB) 52 foot�Boats TO Request for�Information to provide�maintenance and repair for the USCG Motor Life Boat (MLB) Boats. UPDATE: USCG West Coast Specification has been attached to this notice. In order to request drawings please follow the instuctions below: Instructions to access information marked as Critical Technology All interested vendors requesting drawings�must registered, or be currently actively registered with the US Defense Logistics Agency in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) to gain access to USCG drawings. � The website link is provided below: https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/ Note: Once registration has been accomplished, please provide proof of registration to�Iris Johnson, email: Iris.M.Johnson@uscg.mil , and that information will be forwarded to the CG�s Publication Production & Distribution Section Technical Information Management Branch (TIMB). Once TIMB confirm registration, there will be a PIN provided to Mrs.�Iris Johnson�and issued to each of the vendor�s POC/s. This PIN will be used to access References found under the Spec/SOW, Consolidated List of References iv. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Small Boat Product Line (SBPL) is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued.� If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the BetaSam.gov website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The USCG SFLC SBPL is presenting the attached Statement of Work (SOW) to industry to obtain feedback on whether or not the current SOW is written in the best way to achieve the following: �The Soliciting and awarding a commercial firm fixed price commercial availability contract ��with one (1) base period of twelve (12) months, and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods, to provide maintenance and repair for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Motor Life Boat (MLB) 52 foot Boats (USCG MLB-HWX 52) in accordance with the attached SOW. Interested parties are requested to review the attached document(s) and provide feedback on what foreseeable challenges industry may have in meeting the requirement as it is currently written. Responses should include: Name of Company, Address and DUNS Number. Point of Contact and Phone Number. The respondee�s small business category under the appropriate NAICS code, 336611 (if small business, must identify concern). Target areas of concern, and possible alternative methods to meet the needs of the requirement. Additional questions to address: Does the current SOW suffice for industry to be able to provide a response? Is the NAICS code 336611 the most appropriate code to use for this acquisition? Is the respondee aware of any GSA service contracts that would be able to meet the requirement?
