Spot Treatments for Weed Control throughout the entire cemetery Question is there a No-Greater-Than number of spot treatments per year? For instance: a few random spot treatments will not be much cost but to spot treat the entire cemetery will cost as much as retreating the entire grounds. Spot treatments will be as needed by the COR for the weeds that were not affected by the Mass spraying of the cemetery. There is no No Greater than #. Can you please provide attachment P01 Agronomic Protocols as mentioned on page 1 of the work specification statement document? Note: There are eight Agronomic Protocols that outline appropriate policies and procedures for proper lawn care operations at this Cemetery. In case of any discrepancies between procedures specified by the protocols and those specified in this part of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), this guidance takes precedence see attachment called P01 Agronomic Protocols . Removed from SOW. Weed Control- There is not a requirement for treatment of violets. Does the cemetery want these treated? If so, what CLIN do these need to be added under for pricing? If required, will there be a need for monthly spot spraying? CLIN 0008. SOW reads all weeds in Scope of Work. Spot Spraying done as needed as directed by COR. What CLIN should the grassy weed control be put under for pricing? There are 4 months this is required April, May, June, and September as well as spot spraying each month if needed per page 5 under scope of work. CLIN 0008 Scope of work States all weeds. This would include all Spray applications and spot sprays as SOW states. Storm Damage- removal of fallen trees are included in this CLIN. Removal of fallen trees will increase the per price cost to account for the unknown for services that may not be used. Can the Government add a separate CLIN for removal of fallen trees? No additional CLIN will be added for tree removal. SOW page 7, under paragraph one this sentence shall be removed from SOW. (Tree Removal from SOW). This will just consist of Debris Cleanup as stated in the Scope of work. Branches, Limbs, Leaves Etc. Will the contractor be required to edge the mulched roadways in the cemetery? NO. Will these roadways be mulched by the contractor or cemetery staff? Roads that are Pine Barked will be done by cemetery Staff. Will these roadways require weed trimming? Will the roadways need weed treatments? SOW states Turfed and Non-Turf areas will be kept generally weed free. CLIN 12- Will the new mulch be required to be edged after installation? NO Gravesite renovation has a quantity on the price sheet of 1, however in the scope of work it says 50-100 per year. Which is accurate? Should the quantity be increased on the price sheet? Also, what season will these renovations be requested? The scope of work states putting mulch down when sod is unavailable then sodding when sod is available. Is the mulch required for winter months? If so, will the contractor need to wait to invoice when the sod is placed? The Quantity will need to be increased to 20. Mulch will be required when Sod is unavailable. Contractor will submit invoice for payment when the job is completed as stated in SOW. Contractor can invoice when backfilled and mulched if SOD is placed on all mulched graves ASAP. (Well Rooted as the SOW states). End of Document
