Description
The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Contract Operations Branch is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Gignoux Courthouse lobby Screening, Temporary Parking, and Vehicle Barrier Project in Portland, ME. The contactor will be responsible to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary as outlined below: Lobby Screening: The main courthouse lobby screening entrance will be renovated to provide proper security to the United States Marshal Service (USMS). The renovation includes but are not limited to ballistic glazing projection for USMS personnel, teller window, queuing rails, millwork podium, optical turnstile, weapons storage, and cellphone storage. Temporary Parking: This project consists of installing a temporary security fence with two sliding cantilever gates and one personnel gate. Secure barriers, 8ft high fencing, electrical chain driven operators. Electrical panel located inside the Boiler Room. Vehicle Barrier: This project consists of the installation of an exterior vehicle barrier rated for a 4,000 lb vehicle at 30 mph at the inner courtyard entrance. Access control and sequencing of existing overhead door and barrier operation. Installation of ground loop detector. Integration of all elements for access control This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The estimated price range is between $600,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS Code is�236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $39.5 Million. The proposal due date is April 6, 2021. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for March 18, 2021. Technical documents are available through the secure website via beta.sam.gov. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror�s responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the RFP, and amendments and any related information.
