- This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to ADSS, Inc. (CAGE: 1Q7C1) of 2700 S Kinney Road Tucson, AZ 85735. This requirement is for the purchase of Hydraulic Cylinders. Item 0001 Aluminum, 4 stage, double acting hydraulic cylinder MFG: ADSS, Inc. P/N P10036-1804 QTY: 4 The Government intends to negotiate solely with ADSS, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 333995, Fluid Power Cylinder and Actuator Manufacturing and the size standard is 750 Employees. Please be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quote to be considered by the agency. Comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted via e-mail ONLY to Paige Miller at Paige.miller2@navy.mil by 0800 PST on 24 March 2021. Responses received on or before this date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. To respond to this announcement, you must be registered to the NIWC E-Commerce website at https://e- commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil and upload your inquiry under NIWC Pacific/Simplified Acquisitions/N66001-21-Q-6192. All responding vendors must be registered to the System for Award Management (SAM). Information can be found at https://www.sam.gov.
