Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Canandaigua, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about April 6, 2021 to renovate building 16 to provide a fully updated and code compliant fire department facility. The scope of this project is to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to perform work under project number 528-A5-17-536 titled Fire Department Renovations. The general scope of this project is to renovate building 16 to provide a fully updated and code compliant fire department facility. The work will include, but not limited to: the removal of existing walls and beams as required to support the desired layout, removal and replacement of ceilings and flooring throughout, hazardous material abatement, upgrades to the building utility distribution systems, civil, structural, electronic security and communications works. The renovated facility will provide three apparatus bays as well as living and working spaces. All work will be accomplished on the Canandaigua VAMC campus as indicated in the specifications and drawings. This procurement is being conducted as full and open competition. The NAICS code is 238220. The cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
