W9127820R0029�Two-Phase Design Build Zone 3 � WEG Subscale Drone Facilities, Tyndall AFB, FL Project consists of the design and construction of a ""rail ready"" Target Storage Facility 4,993 SF= 464 SM; Aircraft Maintenance Facility, 66,447 SF= 6,173 SM (including Pilotless Aircraft Shop, Chute Shop, and Wash rack), ECM Pod Shop and Storage, 23,560 SF= 2,189 SM; and Test Cell, 1,848 SF= 172 SM. The Subscale Drone facility is a complex with drone (BQM) aircraft maintenance shops, chute shop, aircrew flight equipment shop, Engine Test Cell, ECM Pod Shops and storage, and Wash Rack. The complex is comprised of 3 primary facilities: POD Shop, Target Maintenance/Hangar and the�Engine Test Cell. The WEG maintains the personnel parachutes for the T38 crew and therefore requires a chute tower as part of the Hangar and equipment shop to accomplish this mission. The drone (BQM} AC Hangar will provide space for the maintenance and protection of drones. The Pod Shop is for the advanced threat replication mission and should include specialized classified and unclassified laboratories and support space. The project includes all utilities, site improvements, pavements,�detection/protection features, security enhancements and other supporting work.
