Description

NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION - The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) Aircraft Structures & Air Traffic Controls & Landing Systems Contracting Office (PZABC) intends to definitize undefinitized contract action (UCA) FA8119-20-C-0004 via contract modification. This UCA was awarded on 15 July 2020 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, McLean, Virginia in an amount not-to-exceed $35,964,710. This effort is for the repair of 174 B-52 Engine Nose Cowls for the B-52 Stratofortress Bomber jet. This acquisition was executed on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-2, Unusual and compelling urgency. This synopsis of the proposed contract action is IAW with FAR 5.201(b)(1)(i) is being made as the definitization will exceed the threshold at FAR 5.101(a)(1).
