- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit on a Small Business Set aside basis, a requirement to Court Reporting Services in support of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Office of Counsel (00L). Code 00L attorneys represent BUMED in major employment litigation, federal employment class actions, contract disputes, and other matters within the cognizance of the Department of the Navy, Office General Counsel. Court Reporting Services is an essential resource needed to effectively litigate complex cases. These services are currently being provided under IDIQ contract N0018916DZ024. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR part 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This is an announcement only; a formal solicitation will be forthcoming. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This notice and the subsequent RFQ SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/. The reference number is N0018921QZ091. The proposed contract action is for commercial services, in accordance with the statement of work. The NAICS code is 561492 and the Small Business Size Standard is $16,500,000.00. The solicitation shall contain the official ordering period of 7 May 2021 through 6 May 2026. Upon its release the solicitation will be issued electronically via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the RFQ and any amendments thereto. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or after 24 March 2021. The closing date for the receipt of quotes will be set forth in the RFQ. Quoters must be Small Businesses, and must be registered in the System for Award Management to be considered for award. See https://www.sam.gov for further information and instructions. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice.
