Description: The Libby RD/Canoe Gulch RS on the Kootenai NF requires bamboo stakes and rigid seedling protection tubes�which are used for animal damage control with tree seedlings. The diamond mesh tubes protect young tree seedlings from browsing animals for up to 5 years.� They allow seedlings to grow and slowly photodegrade once seedlings have grown to a point of establishment.� Bamboo stakes provide additional support.
