- Naval Supply Systems Command San Diego hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Cornerstone Communications, Inc. to provide an Avaya Telephone System Configuration in support of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS). Brief Description of Requirement: The NPS Avaya telephone system Private Branch Exchange (PBX) needs to be configured to support NPS� migration of telephone service from Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) and long distance T1 Primary Rate Interface (PRI) circuits to a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunk. This project represents the final stage of the overall upgrade to the NPS Next Generation Telephony System. NPS is requesting modification of the Avaya Hardware Support task order to add the work detailed below. Tasks: 1. Provide remote consultation, engineering design, and project coordination required to implement Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) SIP trunk on the NPS telephone system. 2. Provide remote implementation of the SIP trunk on the Avaya telephone system, including necessary translations. 3. Configure and test Direct Inward Dial numbers (DID�s) provided by the SIP provider and participate in testing with NPS and the SIP provider. 4. Coordinate with SIP provider as DIDs are migrated to the new trunk. 5. Provide 30 days of post-implementation support. Period of Performance: 3/25/2021 � 1/31/2022 Place of Performance: Work shall be performed at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA 93943 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111 Electronic Computer Manufacturing. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is a notice of intent to a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor needs to be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM). Register via the SAM website https://www.sam.gov, and be eligible to process invoices through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Register via the WAWF website https://wawf.eb.mil. All responsible sources may submit the following information in their response: 1) Current capability statement that demonstrates your companys ability to meet the above requirement, 2) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size, Cage Code and DUNS number. This information will be used to determine if a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice. 2) Respondents may respond via e-mail no later than 25 March 2021 at 11:00am Pacific Standard Time (PST) to jonathan.stames@navy.mil. If no responsible, responsive offers are received by the above date, a sole source contract will be issued to Cornerstone Communications, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
