Description

UPDATE: The EDW/BI requirement Acquisition Strategy timeline will be updated and posted by the end of April 2021. ORIGINAL: The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), Information Technology (IT) Directorate will host a Virtual Industry Week between�February 1, 2021 and February 5, 2021, to perform market research for DeCA�s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) / Business Intelligence (BI) Support Services requirement. The Virtual Industry Week is intended to allow vendors to present their capability that covers the scope of the effort, specifically the program and systems in the EDW/BI Support Services requirement.� The confirmation notices will be sent, to registered participants, one (1) week prior to the event.� Vendors who have not received a confirmation notice will not be permitted to participate. The Virtual Industry Week sessions can be confirmed for prime and or prime/subcontractor teams.� Each session will allow vendors approximately 45 minutes to present their capabilities, ask questions and or provide comments pertaining to the requirement.� This industry event is solely for information and planning purposes and all information provided is subject to change.� This notice does not commit DeCA to contract for any supply or service.� Furthermore, DeCA is not, at this time, seeking proposals.� Responders are advised that DeCA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to the EDW / BI Support Services requirement.� Interested participants must complete the Virtual Industry Week registration form (attached) and submit via email to heather.jarratt@deca.mil (primary) or beverly.summerson@deca.mil (secondary), no later than (NLT) 1700 EST, January 13, 2021.� Exceptions will not be made for late registration. An email confirmation will be sent, by DeCA personnel, NLT, 1700 EST,�25 January 2021, to provide the Virtual Industry Week schedule and instructions for submitting correspondence.� Also, in this notification, is a Request for Information (RFI). The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is posted for industry to provide comment(s). �In reference to draft PWS, no questions will be accepted and comments are due NLT, February 12, 2021. The current EDW/BI contract expires on October 31, 2021. DeCA Contracting anticipates that the formal solicitation for EDW-BI Support Services will be posted on or about, March 23, 2021.
