Description
a. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate additional Questions & Answers (Q&As) that were received for this solicitation: Q1. How many pharmacy technicians need to complete the gloved-tip sampling? This service is rated per person.  Please confirm that TASK 002 is based on a total of twelve (12) employees per contracted year.  I could not find the quantity of technicians/employees in paragraph 3.1.1, 3.1.2, and 3.1.3 of the Performance of Work. A1. There is a total of 10 radiopharmaceutical technicians. The sampling will be performed once a year to each technician. Half the technicians will be tested at six months and the other half six months thereafter. New technicians will be sampled 3 times initially. As a result of this clarification, the quantities for Line Items 0002, 1002, 2002, 3002, and 4002 are increased from 12 to 20 each. The quantities for Line Item 5002 is increased to 10. Contractors are reminded that the resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements Type contract and that the government will issue orders against it. Q2. What is the risk type for the media fill kits? A2. Media fill kits are low risk. Q3. Referencing Section 3.1.4.4 in the PWS, how many rooms have the low air returns? A3. Two rooms have low air returns. Q4. Can the Asbestos clause in the contract be omitted?  A4. According to the Government records, Asbestos Containing Building Material (ACBM) was removed from rooms A13, A13a, and A13b during a recent project renovation. Work by contractor will not be expected to be in areas where ACBM is present. Q5. Is this bid just for the facility in San Juan PR or if there are other locations that may be included? A5. Work will be performed in San Juan facility only. b. The solicitation set-aside is corrected to read: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The previous amendment left this area blank and is corrected with this amendment. c. The solicitation closing date and time remain unchanged at March 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM (EST). d. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Contractors are reminded to acknowledge this amendment and include a copy of it in the quote package.
