- Description
- This notice serves as a pre-solicitation notice/procurement synopsis as required by FAR Subpart 5.204 � Presolicitation Notice.� The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Agile Acquisition Directorate Contracting Office (EBX), located at 205 West D Avenue, Building 350, Suite 420, Eglin Air Force Base, FL, 32542, intends to issue a solicitation for Contractor Logistic Services (CLS/Mx) & Washrack Services.� This notice of contract action does not constitute a solicitation, nor does it constitute a request for proposals. This procurement is being advertised as full and open.� This procurement will use FAR Part 15 � Request for Proposal (RFP) process and intends to award a single requirements contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the RFP, will be the most advantageous to the Government, as a result of trade-offs, all factors considered. On behalf of The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Detachment (Det) 1, AFLCMC/EBX is in need of technicians to support modification, test events, and flight operations for home station and deployable SOF C-130J variant (including but not limited to AC/MC/EC-130J). The contractor shall participate cooperatively with the Government in a teaming environment to provide aircraft maintenance �touch labor� support at both Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field. The contractor shall be limited to support a max of five aircraft at any given time at the performance locations. The contractor shall also install test instrumentation as required. The contractor shall perform maintenance/support in line with priorities set by DET 1 logistical personnel on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis. Overtime will be required to provide weekend maintenance support to both DET 1 and the AMU on an as needed basis. The contractor shall manage any government provide consumables. In addition to the required CLS/Mx services, the contractor shall complete required washes and fresh water rinses for any C-130 and/or C-130 variant under test with SOCOM DET 1 or the 417th Flight Test Squadron (FTS) in line with applicable current Technical Orders (TOs). The contractor shall accomplish aircraft washes on C-130 aircraft IAW AFI 21- IO1/96 TW Sup, T.O. 1-1-691 Chapters 1-9, Cleaning and Corrosion Prevention and Control. Aerospace and Non-Aerospace Equipment applicable MOS -6 and -23 series TOs: applicable job guides: work cards: and local wash check lists. Service provider shall also be responsible for post wash windscreen cleaning, cannon plug drying, and fresh water rinses
