Page 1 of 3 Description: Hemosphere 360 Advanced Monitoring System Request for Quote Posted 3/24/2021 and closes 3/31/2021 Facility 2237#: 460-21-2-3019-2970 INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND: The Hemosphere 360 Advanced Monitoring System monitors volumetric parameters (EVLW, PVPI, GEDV and GEF) that can be used specifically in the treatment of pulmonary edema, acute lung injury (ALI) or acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) 33. The volumetric parameters are provided via transpulmonary thermodilution (TPTD). The system has a hypotension predictive decision support software that is only available through Edwards Lifesciences. There is no other way to assess the volume status now. This helps removing guess work out of the equation. OBJECTIVE: The Surgery Department at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, (460) Wilmington, Delaware, hereby referred to as the VAMC Wilmington (460), is seeking the acquisition of (2) Hemosphere 360 Advanced Monitoring Systems. To meet the needs of this acquisition, the following salient characteristics or needs must be met: Must have Acumen Hypotension Prediction Index software that predicts the likelihood of a patient trending towards a hypotensive event. Must offer finger cuff that delivers continuous blood pressure and advanced hemodynamic parameters (CO/CI, SV,SVI, SVV, SVR/SVRI, MAP) Must offer tissue oximetry sensor to measure StO2 Must offer a censor that attached to an arterial line and can provide HPI, Eadyn, dP/dt, CO/CI, SV/SVI, SVV/PPV, SVR/SVRI, and MAP measurements. MAJOR REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor/ Vendor must complete the following tasks to meet the needs of this acquisition: Provide two Hemosphere Advanced Monitoring Systems Smart Recovery with Clearsight, Pressure Cable for Acumen IQ / FLOTRAC, HPI, and Acumen analytics. Provide two Pressure Controller Covers PCCVR Provide two Hemosphere Roll Stands Provide 24 Month Protection Plans The Government and the Contractor understand and agree that the services to be delivered under this contract by the Contractor to the Government are non-personal services and the parties recognize and agree that no employer-employee or master-servant relationships exist or will exist under the contract between the Government and the Contractor s employees. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED INFORMATION OR MATERIAL: This acquisition does not include Government-furnished property (GFP), identify in the Statement of Work all available information on GFP to be provided, including the make, model, bar code number and serial number, if available, of all accountable assets with an acquisition cost of $500 or more. This acquisition does not include Contractor-acquired property (CAP). This will include documentation of receipt and assignment of a facility based EE number for identification and tracking purposes. Delivery confirmation of non-equipment/ commodities acquisitions is the responsibility of the receiving Facility and/ or Service.
