- This solicitation is issued as a sole source, firm fixed price(FFP) requirement under authority FAR 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Services are required for Automated Precision, Inc. (API) is the direct manufacturer of this equipment and would be more familiar with the calibration requirements since the calibration processes are proprietary. Other companies may be able to certify an API Laser Tracker, but for a full ISO calibration to the ISO 17025:2017 standard, but other vendors are incapable of providing official manufacturer certification, which the OEM has restrictive rights to perform. No other vendor is approved by the OEM to provide this certification. Another vendor could result in mission failure and potential (costly) rework at the Government�s expense. Period of performance is one year from date of award(base period) and four option periods. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) code is 811219 with business size standard of $20.5 million. Offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management(SAM) with NAICS code 811219 listed.
