- Description
- The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)�to Cepeda Associates to provide technical services to PHNSY & IMF for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of #1 and #2 scrubbers and #1 and #2 burners onboard a Los Angeles-class submarine. �Cepeda Associates is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is the only one that can perform this work onboard Naval 688 Class Submarines. Additionally, Cepeda has the required models of scrubbers and burners on all 688 Class Navy Submarines. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice (ID# N32253-21-R-0004) was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), beta.sam.gov, from 19 March 2021 � 23 March 2021 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received no responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirements.� Note: The N32253-21-R-0004 solicitation document is available upon request to those interested parties who submitted capability statements. Please email both the primary and secondary point of contacts listed in this posting to obtain a copy of the solicitation.�The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2021-04, DFARS (last updated 02/24/2021), and NMCARS 18-15. This pre-solicitation notification does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
