- This Sources Sought Notice serves as a market research tool and is being utilized for planning purposes to determine the availability of potential sources capable of meeting a current need of the Government, prior to formulating a method of acquisition. No awards will be made from this notice. No solicitation is available at this time. All responses to this notice are purely voluntary. All interested vendors are hereby notified that if this Sources Sought Notice is followed by a solicitation for this requirement, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to any award that may result, IAW FAR 52.204-7. Registration may be completed at http://www.sam.gov. Description: 765 ABS/CONF/PKA issues this notice on behalf of Lajes Field, located on Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal. The 65th Aerial Porter Squadron at Lajes Field is in need a contractor to provide and install reliable, high quality Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Badging and Access Control System (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Monitoring (IDS) system via contract, to enhance the security of Bldgs. T-612, Passenger Terminal, and T-709, Passenger Freight. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, material, parts, quality control, and transportation necessary to design, install, integrate, test, and deliver a CCTV, ACS, and IDS system at Bldgs. T-612 and T-709 at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. Please read attentively the attached Statement of Work, which outlines the requirement and desired outcome. The SOW includes two attachments at the end of the document, diagraming proposed camera locations of buildings T-612 and T-709. Exact quantities and minimum performance requirements of cameras, monitors, doors, and keypads will be provided at time of solicitation. Once this acquisition reaches the solicitation phase, a pre-proposal site visit will be organized with all interested vendors. Instructions: All interested and qualified sources are required to provide the following information, electronically, no later than 31 March 2021: (1) Company name, address, and point of contact, telephone numbers and e-mail address. (2) If already registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), your CAGE Code and DUNS Number. If not already registered in SAM, provide a statement of your commitment to do so or provide confirmation that the process has been initiated. (3) Statement of Capabilities that demonstrates your company�s capability to provide CCTV, Badging and Access Control System (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Monitoring (IDS) Maintenance. All responses are to be submitted in English and must be received no later than 31 March 2021, by 14:00 local time.
