- MARAD Ship Operations Operating Procedures for the National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF), Ready Reserve Force (RRF), and all other programs under their cognizance The responses to this Notice will be used for planning purposes for an upcoming procurement. Therefore, this Notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP); it does not guarantee the future issue of a RFP; nor does it commit the government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, this Agency will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that this Agency will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Notice; all costs associated with responding to this Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. By way of this Market Survey/Sources Sought Notice, the Maritime Administration, Division of Gulf Operations intends to determine the extent of firms that are engaged in providing, business analysis, technical writing and editing services with the capability to update the MARAD policy, procedures and administrative and technical documents to ensure MARADs goals and strategic missions are met. � The objective of the potential solicitation is for a contractor to perform an in-depth review of the current policies, procedures and administrative and technical documents to update, revise and/or rewrite documents to reflect current business practices of MARAD. The updated documentation must be developed using Plain American English and shall be clear and concise. �The documentation shall also meet U.S. Navy, MARAD, and commercial standards as appropriate.�Additionally, the contractor may be tasked to provide support on additional general tasks such as technical editing of other documentation, manuals, risk management documentation and other technical related efforts as needed. � � Personnel along with required years of experience for this requirement are:� Project Manager /Business Analysis (10+ years of experience) Senior Technical Writer/Facilitator/Analysis �(10+ year of experience)� Technical Writer �(5-10 years of experience)� Document Processor �(5+ years of experience) REQUESTED INFORMATION: This Agency requests that interested contractors complete the following questions to assist the government in its efforts of performing market research for this project. 1. Firm's name and BUSINESS SIZE, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address: 2. In consideration of North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561410 with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million, which of the following small business categories does your business fit, if any?
