Description

The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Long Range Enforcer - Contracts & Procurement Branch 2, ALAMEDA, CA anticipates awarding SOLE SOURCE procurement to PACIFIC STAR MARINE POP: 1ST. POP Uninstall old Z-Drives 3/31/2021 - 4/07/2021 2nd POP Install new Z-Drives 4/26/2021 - 4/30/2021 ONLY SECTION 3.17.6.A.1.2 IN THE ATTACHED SCOPE OF WORK IS BEING SOLICITED 3.17.6.A.1.2����� Z-Drive Installation and Removal � The contractor shall provide representation and guidance as required to facilitate the removal and installation of z-drives from 175ft WLM Coastal Buoy Tenders.� These actions may include but are not limited to disconnect and reconnect Z-Con control wiring, steering & lube oil piping, cardan shaft and miscellaneous ancillary connections.� Verify driveshaft alignment and ensure proper function of the drive once all connects have been restored following installation.� Final alignment will be completed once the vessel is waterborne.� Note � MPCMS (TANO) wiring (disconnect and reconnect) and grooming is the responsibility of L3 controls.. Vendor will provide all labor and parts listed in the Schedule. NAICS Code #336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 AM EDT for 70Z08521NP45A7100 �will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
