Description

PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT This is a PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT to announce that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, working on behalf of James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), Tampa, FL, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Brand Name product Vyntus Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Body Box Systems manufactured by Vyaire Medical. As this solicitation is for the Brand Name only, the Government is not accepting quotes for equal products. Quotes for other than the requested Brand Name item to include Grey Market or unauthorized reseller quotes shall be rejected and receive no further consideration. Please see attached Justification for Other Than Full & Open Competition (JOFOC) document: P03-JOFOC Below SAT_Vyntus Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Body Box Systems-JAHVH. This procurement is to be set-aside 100% for SERVICE DISABLE VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Quotes from other than SDVOSB concerns shall be rejected and shall receive no further consideration. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable for this procurement is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. Size Standard: 1,250 employees. The RFQ 36C24821Q0620 will be posted to the Contract Opportunities website https://beta.sam.gov/ on or before 26 March 2021. All solicitation packages and amendments must be accessed at this website. All amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this website and will not be mailed.
