Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) �Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) program, Facilities and Operations at Edinburg, TX requires DDVP (also called 2,2-dichlorovinyl dimethyl phosphate or dichlorvos) pest strips to control Gypsy Moths. The USDA uses DDVP in its program to manage the gypsy moth. The primary use of DDVP is as a component in the pheromone baited milk carton style traps that are used primarily for surveying and monitoring gypsy moth populations. The maximum annual number of strips in packages of 50 each is 800. The intent is to award a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a five-year period. This procurement is a small business set-aside. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6840 - Pest Control Agents and Disinfectants. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325320 Pesticide and Other Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Solicitation number 12639521Q0124 will be posted on or about March 29, 2021.
