- The National Park Service requests information from small business vendors registered as small businesses under NAICS 238220 Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5M or that meets that size standard and can perform the work. Vendors interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement should send a Statement of Qualifications. Submit information to the Contract Specialist, Christopher Keck, at Christopher_Keck@nps.gov, no later than (NLT) 2:00 PM CT on April 5, 2021. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. The Work consists of the following: This purpose of this project is for the replacement of seven forced-air HVAC systems, including one unit heater, and one potable water heater. All work and components shall be installed in a manner consistent with all applicable building codes, manufacturer�s instructions and warranty requirements, and acceptable practices. All work shall be limited to the Maintenance Complex Buildings at Effigy Mounds National Monument (EFMO). In the mid-1990�s HVAC systems were installed in the Effigy Mounds National Monument Maintenance Complex Buildings. EFMO has been experiencing periodic malfunctions with the HVAC systems that have required service technicians to repair. Furthermore, the HVAC systems and water heater are nearing their life expectancy. The intent of this project is to replace the furnaces with new furnaces prior to a major malfunction. All work will be located at Effigy Mounds National Monument in Harpers Ferry IA. The National Park Service anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is: between $25,000 and $100,000. Period of Performance: Approximately 30 calendar days from Notice to Proceed Paper copies of this announcement will not be provided.
