- This Sources Sought�notice is regarding the prospective award of a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee�sole source contract with Intermat for�a five-year Period of Performance. This is a follow-on to Contract No. N0017817D2055. Scope of Work: Development of replacement and alternative Shape Stable Nosetip (SSNT) materials for both existing Navy Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) Reentry Systems (MK4 & MK5), and the development and fabrication of thermal protection system materials and components (including nosetips, heatshields, control surfaces and antenna windows) for new/advanced Navy reentry systems and flight test experiments. Capability Statements: Interested parties may submit capability statements by the date listed in this announcement. Capability statements shall not exceed ten (10) pages and shall include the following: 1. A complete description of the Offeror�s capabilities, related experience, facilities, techniques, or unique combination of these factors that clearly relate to the Government�s specific needs for this requirement as specified in the draft Statement of Work. 2. A company profile including CAGE code, DUNs number, and a statement regarding small business status. 3. Specific past performance on same or similar size and scope of work performed by the Offeror as a Prime Contractor within the past five (5) years, including a description of the services provided, the dollar value of the effort, and the contract number. 4. List of prospective Sub-contractors including metrics to show full compliance with FAR 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting. Disclaimer: This notice is a sources sought and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted. Contractor responses received after the advertised due date and time will NOT be considered. No exceptions to this receipt deadline shall be granted under any circumstances. Responses must be received no later than the deadline listed in this announcement�
