Description

The Combat Capabilities Development Command ChemicalBiological Center G-6 requires the quantity of 1 SpectraGuard Next Business Day On SiteSupport T950, 8 LTO-7, 4 LTO-5, 1 QIP, 950 Slots S/N: PTH0453003.�SpectraLogic T950 is the backup Tape Library for supporting both CCDC�s internal and external mission critical servers and applications .This one year T950 8 LTO-7, 4 LTO-5, 1 QIP, 950 Slots purchase, renewal of maintenance and support will sustain the operating one year warranty of the existing product. Based on this outcome, it is determined that since there are no Small Business contractors that is available for this acquisition, and the Acquisition does not have a CHESS Statement of Non Availability or Information Technology Approval System waiver, it will be advantageous to purchase the T950 renewal of maintenance and support for one year through Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions. CDW Government LLC, was the only company that provided a quote during a CHESS IT e-smart request. Since CHESS is the mandatory source for commercial IT hardware and software purchases, and SpectraGuard Next Business Day on Site Support is available through CHESS by CDWG Computer Systems, and the brand name is the only product that will meet the requirements of CCDC CBC-G-6. It will be mandatory for the Government to set this requirement through CHESS as a Brand Name represented by NAICS Code 541519 - Other Computer Related Services. CHESS is the Army�s DOD Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI)Software Product Manager (SPM). In this capacity, CHESS has the responsibility for managingthe DOD and Army Enterprise Software Agreements (ESAs) whose use has been mandated bythe Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS) and Army FederalAcquisition Regulation Supplements (AFARS).
