- This notice N68171-21-R-0006 is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring the dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes or proposals and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella, intends to issue a solicitation for award of Mid-Term Availability (MTA) of a USS Ship in accordance with FAR Part 15 procedures. All repair work is to be accomplished at the successful contractor�s facility. In order to support the current U.S. Navy mission, this solicitation will be geographically limited to all prospective contractors that have the capability to accomplish the repair work with facilities located along the along the Atlantic Ocean coastline in or south of the city of Ferrol, Spain, the Madeira or Canary Island; and the Mediterranean basin. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for these requirements is 336611. The corresponding Federal Supply Code (FSC) is J998. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) under full and open competition around end of February 2021. Offerors will be notified via Amendment to the RFP. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at https://euroneco.navy.mil or https://www.fbo.gov. By submitting a proposal the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that prospective awardees must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at https://www.sam.gov/.
