- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Philadelphia Office, intends to procure court reporting services for the Office of General Counsel (OGC) located in Washington DC. OGC needs a contractor to provide industry-standard court reporting services for depositions, hearings, arbitrations, trials, meetings, interviews and other proceedings held in the continental United States (CONUS) by the DON, OGC, NLO, or any person or persons designated thereby, in support of DON litigation. DON litigation is conducted in a variety of forums, including but not limited to Federal courts, State courts, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Federal labor Relations Authority, and the Government Accountability Office. The proposed contract action is for commercial services and is anticipated to be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The resultant contract shall be a five year Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) orders. Service is anticipated to begin on 1 June 2021. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561492 and the small business size standard is $16.5 Million. Upon its release, the solicitation and any/all amendments will be made available electronically at https://beta.sam.gov/. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office. The closing date for the receipt of quotes will be set forth in the solicitation. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the solicitation and any amendments hereto. The Government will not pay for the information received. By submitting a quote, the quoter is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the quoter acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database shall make a quoter ineligible for award. Unregistered contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at https://www.sam.gov.
