THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SYNOPSIZING AN UPCOMING COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION SATISFYING THE REQUIREMENTS OF FAR 5.201 AND 5.203 AN INVITATION FOR BIDS WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT APRIL 16, 2021 PROVIDE EMERGENCY POWER TO BUILDING 118 | Canandaigua VA Medical Center Procurement Number: 36C24221B0031 Project Number: 528A5-21-503 The Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VAMC) will be posting a solicitation to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform work under project number 528A5-21-503 for Emergency Electrical work. The Contractor is to coordinate any disruption to electrical service no less than 15 days in advance and may be required to perform utility shutdowns in weekends or other than normal working hours. The Contractor will be responsible for any temporary power requirements if shut down will impact normal operations of the VAMC. Requirements could include, but not limited to Temporary generators, temporary lighting, battery backups, etc. All Electrical work must be in compliance with contract drawings, specifications, and latest edition of NEC. The installed system must, at a minimum, be in accordance with all applicable codes including Veterans Affairs standards which can be found at https://www.cfm.va.gov/til/. The Statement of Work, Drawings, Specifications, etc., will be posted with the solicitation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. A 20% bid bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
