- SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT This is a Sources Sought announcement only. This is not a request for proposals, quotations, or bids. This is not a synopsis of a proposed contract action under FAR Subpart 5.2 and no award will made from this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow up information requests. No solicitation is currently available. This market research is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of interested vendors and will be used by the Government to shape the acquisition strategy in developing a competitive requirement. The Bureau of Reclamation, Denver Acquisition Operations Branch is conducting market research for a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Item Service for the continued operation and data collection at the Arroyo de los Pinos Research Station located near Socorro, New Mexico. The work includes processing samples, analyzing data to extract relationships and trends, submitting journal articles, preparing and providing presentations at relevant conferences, designing a new data collection site, and working with stakeholders and appropriate agencies to execute the development of the new data collection site. ***The awarded contractor must be capable of reaching the Arroyo de los Pinos research station within a 15-minute period of the initiation of precipitation so that the site can be accessed prior to road access being inundated by river flow and must process all physical sediment flux samples from the Reid-type slot samplers within 24 hours of a storm event and ensure site is ready for the next storm event.*** The contract will be for one year base period, and include two (2) 1-year option periods. Reclamation cannot provide personnel or equipment to complete the requirement. Sources are being sought for entities with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541620 Environmental Consulting Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 million. Responses are requested with the following information: 1. Vendor's name, address, DUNS number, points of contact with telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. 2. Business size/classification to include any designations as Small Business, HUBZone, Woman Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, or 8(a). 3. Description of capability to perform the services as described in the Performance Work Statement. 4. Experience on contracts of similar sizes. The past performance information should include project title, location, general description of similar specifications or scope, the Vendor�s role, dollar value of the contract, and name of the company, agency or government entity for which the work was performed with contact information (reference name, phone number and e-mail address). Interested parties can email their capabilities and relevant history to Amanda Somerville at asomerville@usbr.gov. Responses must be received by 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Wednesday, April 7, 2021. No responses will be accepted by fax. Responses will not be returned. Telephonic responses will not be accepted.
