Description

On 22 March 2021, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded Cost Plus Fixed Price (CPFF) Contract N00019-21-C-0034 to The Boeing Company, 14441 Astronautics Ln, Huntington Beach, CA 92647 for $9,473,047. The total contract value is $33,490,661 including options. This effort is for the Correction of Deficiencies in support of P-8A I3A Block 2 Engineering Change Proposals: Net Ready Acoustic Architecture Migration (NRAAM) and Multi-static Active Coherent Enhancements (MAC-E). The period of performance is 36 months. This acquisition was conducted on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 20-320 - Addendum 1, 18 March 2021, attached.
