- Description
- The United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) St. Louis District, Contracting Office, Missouri intends to issue a sole source extension modification with Laura Beckmann for janitorial services. This is sole source extension of services under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.217-8 as authorized by FAR 13.106-1. This extension will continue services as described within the existing Performance Work Statement. Services will continue at Lake Carlyle, IL for the period of 15 June 2021 until 11 December 2021. Services consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform cleaning services in recreation areas, administration areas and along roadways at areas at Carlyle Lake in accordance with the specifications contained herein. In addition to performing services, the Contractor is responsible for, but is not limited to, all job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection, quality control, and management necessary to accomplish the required specified services. This extension is necessary to allow for a competitive follow-on contract to be awarded by the USACE St. Louis District, Contracting Office. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contract Specialist within three days from the date of the publication of this special notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source extension. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to the following address: john.s.crawford@usace.army.mil.
