Description

VAFO Electrical Service Repair Maintenance Building and Maurice Stephens House The National Park Service, Department of Interior, will be soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. This is a PRESOLICITATION notice only and does not constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time. Specific instructions for submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after April 9, 2021, on Beta Sam (beta.sam.gov). Search by referencing the solicitation number 140P4221R0011. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of the anticipate solicitation. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued and telephone requests or fax request for this solicitation will not be accepted. Project Description: Electrical Service Repair to the Maintenance Building and the Maurice Stephens House at Valley Forge National Historical Park. The work includes but is not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, bonds, insurance and permits to successfully complete electrical repairs including but not limited to the removal and replacement of transformers at the Maintenance Building and the Maurice Stephens House. All work performed shall be within compliance of the Contract Specifications and Drawings. The project is located at: Valley Forge National Historical Park at 1400 N. Outer Line Drive, King of Prussia, PA 19406. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract meet this requirement. This contract will be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process in accordance with FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation, including all bid documents, will be posted to the https://beta.sam.gov website. Set-Aside: This is a competitive small disadvantaged business set-aside acquisition; only small disadvantaged businesses will qualify for award. At the time of solicitation all responsible business concerns may submit proposal, which if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. All vendors should pre-register to save time, by logging onto the System for Award Management (SAM) Internet site at http://www.sam.gov. The NAICS code for this proposal is: 238210-Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. Period of Performance: 60 calendar days from notice to proceed. A Bid Guarantee will be required with the Solicitation. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required within 10 days of award. Site Visit: It is anticipated that a site visit will be scheduled sometime during the solicitation. Specific information regarding this meeting will be included in the solicitation.
