- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Eastern Ecological Science Center Located at 11649 Leetown Rd. Kearneysville, WV 25430 requires interior refinishing of the Administration Building to include replacement of existing flooring with a combination of carpet tiles and linoleum planks, a kitchen renovation with some demolition and construction of walls, and painting. The contractor must have a superintendent to oversee work on-site, as required at Section I.71. The project shall be completed within 120 days after notice to proceed is issued. The project magnitude is between $100,000 and $200,000. This solicitation for construction is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS is 238390 and the size standard is $16.5 million. There will be a site visit conducted at the facility on April 8 or 13, as described under Section I.8. CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO VISIT THE SITE. The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to Government considering price and non-price factors approximately equal, with exception. A vendor must be registered at beta.sam.gov to be awarded the contract. The deadline for quote packages is April 23, 2021. Questions submitted by April 20, 2021.
