- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, 100 Emancipation Dr., Hampton, VA. has a requirement for a contractor to provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to provide repairs and upgrade the Domestic hot water heater in bldg. 110D (Mechanical Room) at Hampton VA Medical Center. General Scope: All work will be accomplished in-accordance with applicable Life Safety and OSHA codes and regulations. Additionally, the Department of Veteran Affairs guidelines and policies will be adhered to. Contractor shall provide digital mixing valve that includes DRV50's, (2) Bonomi Safety valves, (4) Inlet strainers, (1) Sage Bas panel, and all associated factory pre-piped package Vendor is to extend the existing concrete pad to house the Digital Mixing Center (DMC) and anchor to the existing water heater. New piping will be fabricated, fitting and valves from DMC to heat exchangers stainless heads. Also re-routing electrical conduit and wiring to the digital mixing valve. Demo existing equipment and piping. Test for leaks and proper operation of install. All work-related debris will be carried off station by the contractor. All other information referenced in the scope of work. FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project: Between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS: 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors Size Standard: $16.5M Annual Revenue Project Completion: The duration of the project is currently estimated at 100 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. This project will be procured as a Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about March 17, 2021. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Quotes will be due approximately 21 days after issuance of the solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled, and the date/time/location will be provided with the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained.
