Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of 60 of the MX5+ HD Ladder system (P/N: MX5-KITA-USN, NIIN LLERG8852), �quantity 60 of the MXPS Service Deck (P/N MXPS-SD-KIT-USN, NIIN LLERG8853) and quantity 60 of the 4 foot extension (P/N MX-4EXT-USN), in support of the AH-1Z and UH-1Y helicopter programs. The anticipated award will be made to Blue Moon Designs (CAGE: 74XBO).� Blue Moon holds the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications and data necessary to provide the required support equipment to meet the form, fit and function required of this requirement. �NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
